Boat Tour & Snorkel Safari

Spend the day out on the boat trying to spot some of the amazing nature that finds it's home in the waters, in the skies and along the cliffs around Orkney. If you're lucky we might get to see some guillemot, puffins or skua flying above the waters or on the cliffs. In the water you might be able to spot seals playing about or lazing in the sun, and in the past we've even seen dolphins, porpoise and orca from the boat (as this is a wild tour and we don't bait to attract animals this is pot luck, but fingers crossed!)

 

With our experienced skipper we'll find a nice sheltered location for our first snorkel (usually about an hour), no matter which direction the wind is coming from these are amazing sites which aren't easily accessible from shore.

Cliffs and Sea stacks around Flotta

Come out of the snorkel and there are plenty of hot drinks to be had (Coffee, Tea or Hot Chocolate) to warm up and some chocolate biscuits to munch as we carry on exploring. If the group want to and we find a suitable location we'll head in for a second snorkel or if not we spend extra time on the boat sightseeing in this beautiful area.

If this sounds great but you'd rather not get in the water, that's not a problem we can book you in for the sightseeing anyway (We can even pack snorkel kit for you if you think you might change your mind once out). There's plenty of space both outside on deck or inside with seating.
